ben Ben Goldstein ( Book and Lyrics – Director) has written produced and directed numerous films and recordings for records, television and the educational markets. He is the founder of the environmental children’s performing group The World Patrol Kids. His films have been shown at the Museum of Modern Art and throughout the world.

Phillip Namanworth (Composer) has written scores and cues for several feature films including: Heart of Dixie, Long Gone, The Carol Warmus Story, Looking for an Echo and Hairspray. He was the lyricist for  Finkel’s Follies.  His songs have been recorded by George Benson, Melba Moore, Andrea Marcovicci and others.
Kat Sherrell (Musical Director, Orchestration) – has accompanied and music directed cabaret acts at Don’t Tell Mama, the Laurie Beechman Theatre, the Metropolitan Room, Emerging Artists Theater, the Duplex and many other venues. Last year, Kat played, conducted and provided orchestrations for the award winning bilingual production of Teatro SEA’s La Muela del Rey Farfan for Teatro Stagefest. She is currently a sought-after accompaniest for rehearsals and performances, and works with such projects as the Striking Viking Story Pirates and the hit Broadway musical In the Heights..
Sullivan
Kathryn Sullivan (Choreographer, Costume Consultant), dance educator and choreographer, has had works shown and produced in many venues. For seven seasons, she was co-director of InnerLandscapes, a dance theater collective, which presented regularly at Joyce Soho and Cunningham Theater. Kathryn has choreographed many pieces for STEPS on Broadway and Ballet Hispanico studios. Special projects include juried selection at the Joyce Soho, two commissions by Barnard College,   and NYSCA project for Ballet Hispanico Company, “Tango Studies”.

Adam Reich
Adam Reich (The Adversary/Jacob Frank)* Off-Broadway:  The Tempest (The Public Theatre), Fools In Love (BAM) , Miss Julie (Cherry Lane Theater), High School Musical (New World Stages), Four Dogs and a Bone (La Flamboyan).  Off-Off Broadway:  La Ronde (Manhattan Theater Source), The Two Gentlemen of Verona (MTS), Talk Therapy (Abingdon Theatre), and Sheep's Milk on the Boil (Irish Arts Center).  Love and thanks to all of my friends and family.
John Anthony Lopez  (Baal Shem Tov, older) is a graduate of the Crane School of Music, where he studied voice with Ms. Patricia Misslin. His rich theatre resume ranges from The Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Emile DeBecque (South Pacific) and Rochester (Jane Eyre), to Alfredo (La Traviata) Tamino (The Magic Flute), and the title role in The Impressario. Metro area credits include Ferdinand (Christopher, the Musical/NYC ), Albermarle et al (Eighty-One, MITF, NYC), The Shepherd (The Winter's Tale Project/FringeNYC) and The Baker (Into the Woods/NJ).
Bob Zanfini

Bob Zanfini (Rabbi Gershon)* Bob has toured the USA and Canada in many different productions of Fiddler on the Roof. He has performed throughout Europe in Fame, Move and Hair. He appears in the Julie Taymor film Across the Universe.

Aaron Schroeder(Baal Shem Tov, younger) is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.  His credits include: Waxing West  in Stockholm, Sweden; Dance Dance Revolution; The Dybbuk (dir. Liz Swados); Moments (dir. Moises Kaufman); Futurity:The Musical ; Jesus Christ Superstar, My Favorite Year, and Me and My Girl. Aaron also writes and performs his own work, and his recent solo show, Box Theory, premiered last season at Ars Nova. Thanks to great cast, crew, family, friends and G-d. 
Alexis Fishman (Chana) Hailing from Sydney Australia, Alexis arrived in New York in May 2008. Her New York credits include  The Hatpin for NYMF, And No One Knows What You’re About , Artists Rising at Theater Row, and the workshop of Faultlines with Ruffled Feathers. She is a graduate of the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Hugh Jackman’s alma mater), and has a long list of Australian credits. Favorites are Dusty (for which she was nominated for a Helpmann Award), Shout! - The Johnny O’Keefe Story, Alice in Closer, Little Sally in Urinetown, and Lil in Troupers for the Sydney Theatre Company. In October 2007 Alexis was in Iraq and Afghanistan entertaining Australian and Coalition troops.

Joseph Callari (Colonel Grabowski)* 2008 Nominee Outstanding Lead Actor in “Opa!” at MITF. 2008 EAT Festivals, Bill Clinton in George and Bill Are Friends, Richard in Next,  Dad in My Dead Mother, Voss in Dinner With Ahmed , Frank Sinatra at The Supper Club; King Kaiser in My Favorite Year, Luther Billis in South Pacific, Martin Lamb in A Good Man off-Broadway; etc. . Producer  off-Broadway of “Mindgame” and Associate Producer of the 2009 Drama Desk Awards.  Love to my fiancé Theresa!

Gabriel Millman (Eli/Yussi/Reb Naftali)* Theater credits: Landscape of the Body (Williamstown Theatre Festival); A Christmas Carol (WaMu Theater, Madison Square Garden); Falsettos (Virginia Stage Company); The Cryptogram (Yale Rep.). Film: The Baxter; The Emperor's Club; Roger Dodger; Wet, Hot American Summer; Celebrity; Everyone Says I Love You. TV: “Law & Order: SVU”; “Law & Order: CI”; “The Sopranos”. Mr. Millman received an early, informal education in Jewish music listening to his hazzan mother teaching  Bar and Bat Mitzvah students

Jessica Waxman (Yussie's Wife) is a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. She has appeared in workshops at Playwrights Horizons, The Lions Theater, and Manhattan Theater Club. She grew up performing in several shows at the Paper Mill Playhouse. This is her first time in the Fringe Festival, and she is thankful to be working on this show.
Jenny Greeman (Rivkah, Chana Understudy)* is delighted to take The Secret of Our Souls to the Fringe after having played Chana for several previous readings. Jenny is an experienced actor, singer, director and teaching artist. Other favorite roles include: Juliet, Romeo & Juliet; Jessica, The Merchant of Venice; Mary-Louise, My Three Angels; and Joanne, Vanities.
Paige Simunovich (Child) is eleven years old and has been performing in many aspects of entertainment for several years. She will make her Broadway debut as Diana in Finian's Rainbow this October. Paige is very excited about having the opportunity to perform in this musical for Ben.

 

Bern Cohen (Beryl the Thief)* In May ’09, Bern received rave reviews as the star of the world premiere of Malamud’s The Assistant at Turtle Shell Theater in NYC. Last season, he was Daddy in Woodhull & Leo Stein in Mina at LaMama (08). In Motke Thief (07), Bern earned "standout" reviews from Variety and The Times. He has principal roles in current films: Brooklyn Rules (Alec Baldwin), 27 Dresses (Kathy Heigl) & Tickling Leo (Eli Wallach). Other 09 releases include a supporting lead as Jesse Eisenberg’s Rabbi in Holy Rollers, Lena Olin's agent in Devil You Know, and Adam Pascal's foil in Goyband.
Isaiah Tanenbaum (Rev the Thief) is a member of Flux Theatre Ensemble, one of nytheatre.com's 2008 People of the Year. Be sure to catch him this November in Flux's play about the 1960's, The Lesser Seductions of History! Favorite New York roles: Enoch (Angel Eaters, Flux), Foster/Erm (Mary Brigit Poppleton is Writing a Memoir, FringeNYC), and Speed (Two Gentlemen of Verona, Manhattan Theatre Source). Film work has included Shooting Vegetarians, Troma’s Poultrygeist, and Window Shopping, which recently aired as part of PBS' Reel 13 independent film program. Isaiah holds a B.A. in Theater and Music from Amherst College.
